Properties of the t-distribution:

1. Symmetric around 0 (for all degrees of freedom)

2. There is more probability in the tails of a t-distribution than in the standard normal.

3. As the sample size gets larger, the t-distribution with n-1 degrees of freedom gets closer and closer to the standard normal.
