Randomly select an initial observation. Select a fixed number m. After the first randomly selected observations, choose every mth observation.
Ex. Political Polling.
Randomly select the first person to question. Then select every 10th person who exits the poll after the first person.
Note: This is not a simple random sample since every subset of size n does not have the same chance of being selected, but every individual observation does have the same chance of being selected.
